# Cryptocurrencies

## Market Times <a href="#market-times" id="market-times"></a>

Crypto markets are open 24/7, allowing you to trade whenever you want. However, when traditional stock markets are closed, crypto trading volume tends to decrease, leading to lower volatility.

## Guaranteed Stop Losses <a href="#guaranteed-stop-losses" id="guaranteed-stop-losses"></a>

Since crypto markets never close, there are no gaps, allowing LeverageX to guarantee your stop loss execution at the exact price you set. In times of high network congestion, your Stop Loss might not immediately trigger, but it will still activate at your set price. Please avoid manually closing your order during such instances, as this will void the guaranteed Stop Loss and convert it into a Market Close at the current price when it triggers.

## How LeverageX Calculates Prices

LeverageX utilizes data from [Pyth.network](https://pyth.network) to determine the price of all cryptocurrency pairs. Pyth.network is a decentralized oracle network that aggregates high-fidelity market data from over 70 leading financial institutions, including exchanges, market makers, and proprietary trading firms. By leveraging Pyth.network, LeverageX ensures accurate, real-time pricing, providing traders with a reliable and transparent trading experience.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.javsphere.com/products/leveragex/trader/assets/cryptocurrencies.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
